SICO South Pacific supported the delivery of Ballina Coast High School, a $50 million NSW “super school” completed in January 2019, combining the former Ballina High and Southern Cross School into a single, purpose-built campus.
Designed to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow, the school places flexible learning and adaptable teaching environments at its core. Modern, versatile spaces were created to allow classrooms to be reconfigured to suit different learning styles, supported by a strong focus on acoustic performance to minimise external noise and enhance the teaching environment.
SICO supplied portable staging to support the school’s multi-purpose spaces, enabling quick transformation for assemblies, performances, presentations and everyday learning activities. These solutions align with the school’s contemporary approach to dynamic, future-focused education design.
